GOLF FITNESS ASSESSMENT / TRAINING
The golf swing is as such that the requirements to produce an effective outcome is dependent upon the golfer’s ability to perform a coordinated movement of multiple body parts, in mulitple directions, all at the same time. This often is done by individuals who are not physically well prepared for the activity resulting in an inefficient golf swing, poor performance, and an increased risk of both acute and chronic injury.
To address this, an innovative golf fitness program is available, designed to assess and improve golf-specific muscular strength, flexibility, and balance. By taking part, your body will be able to swing the golf club more efficiently and effectively, enhancing playing performance, DISTANCE, and satisfaction. You'll also reduce the triggers that lead up to both acute and chronic injury. You will play better, healthier golf!
The components of this individualized, one-on-one program include:
a A golf fitness assessment (two of the physical screens pictured left) and video review of your swing to identify specific muscle deficiencies and consequential swing faults. Essential for effective exercise program design!
a Detailed exercises designed to isolate and improve the weaker anatomical deficiencies, allowing for better body control and swing mechanics.
For the more serious-minded golfer, progression into a comprehensive functional phase is strongly recommended. This enhances the corrective phase with golf-specific strength and balance exercises, maximizing program benefits and providing a total golf fitness package.
