Bob Forman
GolFIT Carolina is owned and authored by Bob Forman. Bob is a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute and Flexor motor learning program. He is Director of the Golf Fitness Academy at High Point Regional in High Point, NC, and provides golf fitness programming for the Dyer and Schatz Golf Academy at Barefoot Resort and Golf in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Bob is also active with several country clubs in the Greensboro, NC, area as well as the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach. His client list includes golfers of all levels and ages including juniors up through and including tour players. He’s been featured on the GolfersMD website as a golf fitness expert, has appeared on television and radio, and provides Golf Fitness Training workshops for the Golf Academy of America and various golf resorts and clubs up and down the east coast.
Bob has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Southern Connecticut State University and has been in the fitness field for over 28 years. During that time, he managed the corporate fitness programs for Kraft Foods in White Plains, NY, and the Crompton Specialty Chemical Company in Greenwich, CT. Along with providing current oversight to The Fitness Center at High Point Regional, Bob also manages their cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs, the hospital’s employee wellness program, and coordinates a city-wide disease prevention campaign..
